Frequently Asked Questions
What is The Crawford Project?
The Crawford Project is a team of web designers who, collectively, have been building websites for over 43 years. Yes, we know - the internet didn't exactly exist (or have web designers) 43 years ago, but each has been working anywhere from 9 to 16 years online, steeped in the business of pleasing clients for the span of their web careers.
Why should I employ The Crawford Project Design Company rather than some other web design house?
We take our services seriously and pay very close attention to each and every project. We never use templates or "canned" designs. Instead, we couple the client with a web presence that fits their business and professional lifestyle. We do our best to match the needs of the client to the function of their website. We find that happiness is both in the big picture and in the details.
What will it cost me?
The cost of building or updating a website depends on how simple, complex, content-spartan, graphic-rich, etc. the website will be. The number of pages is far less important than the scope and depth of the content of the pages. Price is determined upfront and there is very little guess-work that goes into an accounts payable for the client. We leave little room for surprises (we don't like surprises like that, either.)
How long will it take?
Our designers have always been fast and efficient. Once you secure our services and we agree on a "comp" (design and layout) for your purposes, the website can be built quickly with content added soon after, and published (placed online) in a matter of weeks or even days IF the client provides all the elements needed to expedite the experience. It will also depend on the back-log of our work load, but we usually deliver in a matter of a few weeks.
By hiring The Project to do my website, am I entered into any contests to win valuable prizes?
Um... no. Not at this writing.
Sometimes I can see all three girls at the top of this page and sometimes I can't see any of them. What's the deal?
Just like sliding doors, or perhaps a magic trick, we've fixed things so that you can slide your web browser's edges over and back again, revealing and hiding them. This is what we like to call Geeks on Boredom.
